  13. Spelling Sentry is a stand-alone spelling checker application for
  14. Microsoft Windows. A 16-bit version of Spelling Sentry is available
  15. for Windows 3.1 and Windows for Workgroups, and a 32-bit version is
  16. available for Windows 95 and Windows NT.
  17.  
  18. You can use Spelling Sentry from any application -- your favorite word
  19. processor, Write, NotePad, WordPad (Win95 only) WinCim, Netscape,
  20. e-mail, etc.

  22. 2. KEY FEATURES OF SPELLING SENTRY

  24. Key features of Spelling Sentry include:

  26.   * Can check text in most edit boxes directly -- just click the
  27.     mouse on the text you want to check
  28.  
  29.   * Can check text in WordPad (Win95 version only)

  31.   * Can check text files of any size, Write files, and WordPad (RTF)

  34.   * Can check the clipboard
  35.  
  36.   * Comes with a 100,000-word American English dictionary

  38.   * Can automatically or conditionally correct hundreds of common
  39.     spelling errors

  41. 3. HOW TO INSTALL SPELLING SENTRY
  42.  
  43. To install Spelling Sentry from a ZIP file:
  44.  
  45.   1. Unzip the Spelling Sentry ZIP file to a temporary directory.
  46.  
  47.   2. Run INSTALL from the temporary directory.
  48.  
  49.   3. Follow the instructions displayed by the installation program.
  50.  
  51. To install Spelling Sentry from diskette:
  52.  
  53.   1. Insert the Spelling Sentry diskette in drive A: (or B:).
  54.  
  55.   2. Run A:INSTALL (or B:INSTALL).
  56.  
  57.   3. Follow the instructions displayed by the installation
  58.      program.

  67. 4. HOW TO RUN SPELLING SENTRY
  68.  
  69. To run the 16-bit version of Spelling Sentry on Windows 3.1, Windows
  70. for Workgroups, or Windows 95, run Spelling Sentry from the Accessories
  71. group under Program Manager or the Start menu. You can also run
  72. SPELLSEN.EXE from the File Manager or Explorer.

  74. To run the 32-bit version of Spelling Sentry on Windows 95, run
  75. Spelling Sentry 32 from the Start menu's Accessories group. You can
  76. also run SPELL32.EXE from the Explorer.
